Why Esquif?
one meaning, several values
[è-skif]: small boat.
In French etymology Esquif gave the word "Team". Indeed, it is "a group of people working on the same task or joining their efforts for the same purpose".
100% made in France
Esquif is very attached to France, which is why we strive to enhance the heritage and talents of our country.
Our production and assembly are entirely carried out in our workshop in France.
We want to use accessories exclusively from our territory. Thus, we carry out a very thorough sourcing of everything we have used. In France, there are a number of trades and companies that require our support. The quality of the goods is also one of the reasons why we made this choice.
When we do not have the necessary know-how within our company, we do not hesitate to request structures, in order to support us.
Like the labels, from scraps of leather, and the engraving, produced by a Parisian start-up.
We take great care to work as much as possible with an ecosystem of local partners.
Recovered materials
Our Esquif bags are made from 100% recycled materials.
They come either from the aeronautical industry or from the automotive industry. We also use tarpaulins or hot air balloons.
The accessories are selected and come either from production scraps, or from unsold items intended for destruction. In the worst case, when we do not find the necessary accessory, we are obliged to make a purchase. But this purchase is rationalized in relation to our values: we supply ourselves exclusively in France.
These bags are solid, waterproof and sometimes even fireproof! In short, Esquif bags are ideal for accompanying you on a daily basis.
You should know that all these materials are normally intended for destruction: incineration or burial. In most cases, they are intended for burial. Indeed, it is still difficult in our time to achieve the recycling of all existing materials. The only way to avoid this phenomenon is to extend the life expectancy of these materials by finding a second use.

Our will is double, ecological, but also to make our customers profit from the intrinsic qualities of our materials.
Our bags have been designed to accompany you over time.
It is by the sewing quality and by the high resistance of the materials used that this is made possible.
When the product reaches its end of life, we suggest that you send it back to us free of charge.
With your old bag, we can make a new one.
Do not leave your bag lying around in the closet for years without using it, it can have a second life with Esquif!
